Our Little Flower Shop

A note from Allie, the owner.

One of my biggest achievements is opening our flowery blue doors 10 years ago, alongside my floral angels, Jemma and Rosie. My lovely big sister Liz, whom we lost in 2018, was my guiding light in opening up this shop. I will always be forever grateful that she championed me at a time of uncertainty. We love welcoming people in for a browse and a chat. We will always have unique and quirky things for sale outside in our stands, and we can make to order too while you wait.  There’s so much to look at and so much to see when you pop in to Lavender Blue. We are very proud to say we are also trying to do our wee bit for the planet, and we have eradicated all plastic and cellophane wrapping and plastic ribbons. All of our wrap and ribbons can be reused, and we are well known for recycling our bottles, tins and jars and other quirky objects. My favourite things are the bunting we have made from our Thank You cards, our framed pics with fabulous cartoons of the shop, and a wonderful display of coloured vases donated to us by a lovely customer Mr Stewart.
